Released on 8 April 2026, “HAM, JAM & A BETTER PLAN”  is Jenny Ball’s witty and heartwarming sequel to The Chicks iconic 'Goodbye Earl' story. Picking up where Mary Anne and Wanda’s tale left off, the song imagines the pair finding not only freedom and peace, but also love in each other’s arms. Together they leave the past behind to build a new life running a Tennessee roadside stand selling ham and strawberry jam, discovering that their friendship has blossomed into a lasting romance. Filled with Southern charm, humour, and affectionate nods to the original classic, the track celebrates resilience, second chances, and the joy of creating a life on your own terms. With its feel-good storytelling and catchy country spirit, HAM, JAM & A BETTER PLAN” proves that sometimes the sweetest endings come from finding love where you least expect it.

Country newcomer Jenny Ball introduces herself with her debut single “Chasin' Trouble And Tequila”, arriving April 10, 2026. The track offers the first taste of her upcoming debut album, Showed Up Anyway, and sets the tone for an artist drawn to honest storytelling and a little bit of trouble along the way.

Blending dusty barroom attitude with a hook that refuses to sit still, “Chasin’ Trouble And Tequila” captures the reckless freedom of late-night mistakes, neon lights, and the kind of wild memories that make the best country songs. With a voice that carries both grit and warmth, Jenny Ball leans into classic country influences while carving out a fresh, modern edge.

As the first chapter of Showed Up Anyway, the single hints at an album rooted in resilience, small-town honesty, and showing up for life, no matter how messy it gets. If “Chasin’ Trouble And Tequila”  is any indication, Jenny Ball’s debut era is just getting started
